STATEMENT:

The subject of a lot of my work has to do with disasters. I am a story teller of sorts. I recognize this in hindsight. My head is conceptual; my hand emotional. Touch is important. I work with line with color and with a sensitivity to surface. I choose to locate myself between real images and abstraction. It gives me wiggle room to experiment .
