STATEMENT:

I began painting in Paris and my painting still reveals a French influence. Cézanne is reported to have said, ìEverything happens at the edgeî and irregular stretchers have abundant edges. Drifts of color, in thinned acrylic paint or latex spray, now provide a point of departure for paintings.
